Shawn R. Dempsey, Partner

Shawn R. Dempsey, a native of Jacquet River, New Brunswick has 15 years of experience practicing law.

His areas of practice are corporate and commercial transactions, commercial and residential, real estate and estate and succession planning.

Shawn has previously acted as the Chair of the Wills, Estates and Trusts section of the Canadian Bar Association, NB Division.

He is currently the Chair of the Practice Review Committee of the Law Society of New Brunswick and member of the Bar Admission Course Committee of the Law Society of New Brunswick. Shawn has lectured at the Bar Admission program of the Law Society of NB in the wills and estates course. He regularly gives lectures to entrepreneurs interested in starting up businesses.

Shawn is very active in the community. He is a former Director and President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Moncton and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Moncton as well as the Past Chair of its Sustainable Development Committee.

Shawn is also currently the President of the Riverview Soccer Association and has coached and otherwise assisted with various minor league sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball and hockey.
